Ski Season Opening Soelden and Hochgurgl, Austria

After a 7 month long break the snow is back - and so are we. What a splendid weather for our ski opening (without kid! thx a lot to the grandparents) in Soelden and Hochgurgel. This year with some hiking to get the best powder, a new discipline (nordic skating) and the usual Apres Ski fun :-)

Golden October in the neighbourhood

With this super warm weather we just had to go out - and eat the left overs from after the harvest season in our vineyards in the neighbourhood - very sweet grapes!

South of Berlin - 95km bike ride

What a change to our normal scenery: We had a completely flat bike ride South of Berlin - 95km on beautiful countryside roads - a lot of tiny villages, not much traffic, beautiful tunnel of trees all the way to Spreewald (where you can sit in little boats and the tour guides push you thru the channels)

Escape the heat weekend

A perfect 36h-trip to escape the heat in the city - biking around the highest mountain of Germany (Zugspitze) including some cooling off stops in beautiful mountain lakes and creeks - as well as relaxing swims in the hotel pool!
