Escape the heat weekend

A perfect 36h-trip to escape the heat in the city - biking around the highest mountain of Germany (Zugspitze) including some cooling off stops in beautiful mountain lakes and creeks - as well as relaxing swims in the hotel pool!

Vacation in the US - part III - Michigan

it felt like coming home - visiting our old house and the neighbor Tina with the now old lady Molly

 celebrating 4th of July weekend in Saugatuck - Lake Michigan with the presidents family :-)

Summer holidays in the US - part II Florida Keys and Miami

We loved the time in and under the water...

 especially with Anja's animal friends around ;-)

 this guy was not so nice - and bit Ronja in the finger while stealing a fish - she wanted to feed to those bigger fish (tarpons) 

 cruising along Highway No 1 - over 100miles south - passing Bahia Honda State park

 all the way to the Southernmost Point - form here it is only 90 miles to Cuba!

 while the cruise ship passengers "invaded" little city

 beautiful butterlys at the conservatory - not shy of hitchhiking ;-)

 a cool place to do some slack lining

 and watching some actors in the evening on the Mallaroy Square

 spending two nights at this nice B&B

 before we crossed many more bridges back north on our way to Miami

 the most beautiful public swimming pool ever - South of Miami in Coral Gables - Venetian Pool from the 1920s

 and joning the cool crowd at Miami's famous South Beach
