What a fun start in our vacation - iFly Orlando flying in the wind tunnel
A must see - store in downtown Disney - next to the Lego store
our little car for 2 weeks ;-)
Kennedy space center - our birthday present for Ronja - "in front" of the ISS
launch pad and the big surprise - the next show presenting the real Atlantis space shuttle - stunning!
Saturn rocket - the biggest ever - it takes up a whole hall!
vehicle assembly building - where they build the rockets together - the biggest buildung in the world (volume) - the Empire State building would fit in 3 times!
Ronja touching the moon (the stone is actually black) and one of the old capsules they used during the Apollo program to return to earth (very small - a bit scary)
We continued our trip south - and found the lovely Juno beach and pier - a secret spot where even huge turtles come at night to lay there eggs at the beach
passing Miami on our way to Key Largo on the Upper Keys
the lagoon of our club where we stayed in a nice townhouse
and discovered the area - like the John Pennekamp Reef State Park
enjoyed sunsets - and some American fellow that dressed up as pirates for a Captain Morgan party...
Day trip to Everglades National park - some huge inscets....and tons of tiny biting ones...
during a boat trip with a Ranger
besides birds and turtles we even spotted a hunting crocodile
went over the highest pass ever
and did not see the real panther :-)
